BIO

Hailing originally from Bryn Athyn, Pennsylvania, Bronson's musical journey began as a casual musician and dedicated athlete. He explored his musical talents by playing the viola in the elementary school orchestra, learning the bass and guitar in middle school, and lending his vocals to high school a cappella groups. While studying abroad in Spain, he discovered a profound love for the Spanish language and immersed himself in the Salsa and Merengue dance classes.

Following his graduation with a degree in History and Spanish, Bronson embarked on a career as a bassist and backup vocalist, tirelessly honing his craft during late-night practice sessions while juggling various day jobs. Seeking fresh inspiration, he relocated to Buenos Aires, Argentina, in 2009, where he encountered a pivotal turning point in his musical journey. Unable to find a band to join as a sideman, he took up the guitar and began captivating audiences as a busker in subways and open-air cafes. Before long, he established himself as a soloist, gracing the stages of restaurants and bars, where he gained confidence and garnered warm receptions from Argentine audiences, known for their appreciation of native English singers. During this time, Bronson also had the opportunity to collaborate as a bassist with the Colombian band El Caribefunk, who were nominated for a Latin Grammy in 2020. To this day, he continues to perform with them on their US tours.

Immersing himself in the rich tapestry of Caribbean music, Bronson underwent a transformative shift, redirecting his focus from his musical roots to writing and performing songs in Spanish. He delved into the vibrant rhythms of Brazilian music, embarking on a journey that led him to Brazil in 2012, where he immersed himself in the language, studied Samba guitar and percussion, and absorbed the essence of the country's musical heritage. Subsequently, his travels led him to Colombia, where he spent five months delving deeper into the enchanting world of Caribbean music, before eventually returning to the United States in 2013.

Back in his hometown of Philadelphia, Bronson connected with talented local Puerto Rican and American musicians, culminating in the formation of his Latin roots fusion band, De Tierra Caliente. Together, they embarked on extensive tours across Colombia, Brazil, Puerto Rico, and both coasts of the United States, captivating audiences with their electrifying performances. In 2022 and 2023, Bronson embarked on solo European tours, enchanting audiences in France, Switzerland, Germany, and Holland. With an impressive repertoire of approximately 125 shows per year, Bronson continues to share his musical gifts across the United States, South America, and Europe.
